Outdoor Learning

Outdoor Learning Outdoor learning is fully embedded into the curriculum across Cleaswell Hill School. We have extensive grounds and a purpose built outdoor learning centre, we fully integrate these along with local area into the learning experience of all pupils. Forest and Beach School activities are delivered by our qualified specialist staff, giving pupils a further opportunity to learn new practical and team work skills outside of the classroom environment.

We have regular residential visits across the school age range. These have included outward bound activity trips to trips to Dukeshouse Wood (Hexham), Calvert Trust (Kielder), Whithough (Newcastleton), Keswick and ski trips to Vos (Norway).
