Children's University

1st July 2015
Lyn Horton from Children’s University came into school on Friday 3rd July to talk to pupils about the Children’s University Programme.

Children’s University aims to encourage extra-curricular learning and experience outside of the classroom and is managed and delivered in Northumberland by the charity Leading Link.

For those who may not be aware, Children’s University™ is a national programme which rewards young people aged from 4 -18 for their involvement in quality activity outside of the normal school day. This could be anything from an after school club, a sports or dance class or a visit to a museum. As it is national, your child could even pick up stamps from all over the UK - including Manchester, Liverpool, Scotland and London.  You can view all the destinations across the whole of the UK, these are constantly being updated within each locality, on www.childrensuniversity.co.uk
