Supporting Parents & Carers: Learning More About Autism

Our next FREE workshop will take place on Saturday 2nd February 2019 at Ashbrooke School in Sunderland from 9.30am – 4pm. 

The training is aimed at parents and carers supporting children and young people with autism, PDA and co-occurring ADHD.

Sessions will cover topics such as –

  •         What does it mean to have ASD, PDA or ADHD
  •         Understanding and valuing developmental differences
  •         Anxiety and sensory processing, developing emotional resilience
  •         Wellbeing and positive communication
  •         Support strategies for dressing, eating, washing and sleeping
