Springtime Fun

3rd April 2017
Springtime fun with Northumberland Wildlife Trust

Hope you are all keeping well and looking forward to the Easter holidays. We’ve got loads on in the coming months and hopefully some great things for young people and families that will interest your pupils, staff and parents. Anything you can do to help promote or just display a poster is very much appreciated.

We’re gearing up to an egg-citing wild Easter at Northumberlandia where we have a special Easter trail (including a chocolate egg for everyone taking part). We’ve made so many fantastic improvements for wildlife on the site recently and it looks lovely at this time of year so anything you can do to help promote would be much appreciated.

And we’re finalising plans for a festival of wildlife, Wild at Kielder on 13th and 14th May. It’s going to be a weekend jam packed with exciting wildlife activities from interactive family wildlife walks to wild food foraging, from dark skies exploration to alpaca strolls and much, much more. More details can be found centrally on our website here (online booking coming very soon). Prices vary with something for everyone including some activities. Again poster attached. It’s going to be really exciting!

And finally, we’re still promoting the North East Wildlife Photography Competition and we  urgently need more entries. We’re especially keen to get young people entering – there is a special under 17 category with a brilliant trailcam prize. It’s free to enter and open until May 15th! Poster also attached.
