Inclusion
Text
At Cleaswell Hill School, inclusion is not a subject, a strategy, or a response to need.
Inclusion is the way we think, the way we teach, and the way we lead – It’s who we are.
Inclusion is at the heart of our vision to Inspire, Discover and Empower. We believe every pupil deserves the opportunity to learn, belong and succeed in a way that is meaningful to them. Inclusion is not about providing the same experience for everyone; it is about understanding each pupil as an individual and creating the right support, opportunities and pathways for them to thrive.
Through personalised curriculum pathways, inclusive teaching approaches, integrated therapeutic support and strong partnerships with families, we help pupils overcome barriers, build confidence and achieve their potential. We are ambitious for every learner and value all forms of progress, whether that is developing communication, independence, wellbeing, academic achievement or preparation for adulthood.
By adapting our provision around pupils' needs and strengths, we create a community where everyone feels safe, respected and able to participate. Our aim is to inspire aspirations, discover each pupil's unique potential and empower them to lead fulfilling and successful lives.
